ABOUT

Petya Shalamanova is a Los Angeles  based photographer and creative director. She was born and raised in Bulgaria and moved to the United States in 2002. in 2010 she earned her BFA from Columbia College Chicago and spent the following years working  for some of the most reputable publications in the midwest. She is currently working commercially as fashion and portrait photographer for various clients and publications and travels often. Her work is published and exhibited internationally.  Petya is recipient of Numerous awards including Magenta Foundation for The Arts, Kodak Eastman Scholarship, Linda Levy Award, Alumni Scholarship and Graduation Grant from Columbia College Chicago.   Most recently nomination by Alt Media best Photography and Illustration Editorial in North America in 2018.  Currently working as freelancer, she spends her time between United States and Europe, working on assignments and on her personal work, she is available for domestic and international shoots.
